About William A. Colasanti
William A. Colasanti is a founding partner of Colasanti & Iurato LLP. William’s greatest focus lies in tax and accounting
for mid-large scale health-care practices, with the deepest breadth of experience in dental accounting. His expertise in this specific field helps dentists and other practitioners understand how to maximize profits in this arena. William understands specifics to medical practices such as how participation in insurance plans affect the percentage of adjustments to gross productions. He also can maintain cash flow when your patient roster increases or decreases. He’ll also know what a normal accounts receivable balance should be for these businesses and guide you against the tide of mismanaged practice pitfalls, or how to evaluate a new practice for purchase. And as well, when it’s time to cash out- and how to minimize tax-losses.
These are just a few examples of common industry-specific items that a regular small business accountant would not have the knowledge to uncover of look out for.
William is a graduate of Mercy College with a B.S. degree in Public Accounting.

About Glen B. Iurato
Glen B. Iurato is a founding partner at Colasanti & Iurato, LLP. Glen has over twenty years of accounting, tax and managerial experience. His areas of expertise are financial statement reporting and internal accounting and budget controls.
Glen also held the position of CFO of Barrier Motor Fuels, Inc. from 1991-2000.
Glen has specialized experience in wholesale and retail gas station and oil company accounting with a thorough knowledge of the specific monthly business tax returns that are mandatory filing. Glen has worked closely with the NYS registration & bond unit of New York State. His twenty plus years of experience in this industry has built solid and trustworthy relationships with this division and have helped new clients get reinstated with the State of New York under Article 12A/13A.
Glen holds a B.S. in Accounting from Mercy College and became a CPA in 1994.
